These first floor rooms, all refurbished in 2010 & 2012, are ideal for those couples seeking a comfortable stay. Each room is individually and tastefully furnished, all with ensuite facilities. 'Oak' is the largest room and is located within the old school, it is often used as family or twin room. 'Ash' is also within the old school. 'Ash', 'Elm' and 'Willow' with views over the Tas Valley, with 'Willow' and 'Ash' with with a bath. Beech is a twin room.

Large, spacious en-suite room. This room is perfect for recreational visits or long term staying guests. The room, Oak is situated upstairs, have character with beams showing through from the old school. Pets are allowed in this room. We ask that they are never left unattended within the house and not allowed onto bedding or chairs.

'Dartford', named after the bird! This room is on the ground floor and has a walk in shower and toilet which has easy access, so is suitable for those with mobility concerns. 'Robin' is also available in this price range and is on the ground floor, but does not benefit from the walk in shower featured in 'Dartford', Robin has a normal shower instead. Both rooms are ideally suited to single occupancy, but comfortable for short term double occupancy. The double bed in Dartford is 4ft wide, this is taken into account with the tariff, so please take this into account when booking, for a small amount more upgrade to a deluxe double. Please say if ground floor room required on booking. Robin has a normal sized double bed.

Due to the size of the room we do not recommend long term double in these rooms, however if a ground floor room is required the 4th consecutive night is absolutely free, so don't forget the price comes down if you want 4 nights or more! To book this you need to call us in person as we do not have this available on the Internet.

'Swallow' is our cheapest room for the reason that the private shower is located just outside the bedroom door. There is a toilet and basin within the bedroom. This room, although suited for single occupancy, will accommodate those looking for a short break. Like and 'Dartford', this room has a 4ft bed. Due to its size we are not comfortable with allowing the '4th night free' for double occupancy in this room. The size of this room is taken into account with the low tariff.

'Beech', a beautiful twin room situated upstairs within the old part of the school, it offers an en suite shower toilet. 'Ash' can be used as a twin or double, zip together hotel beds with ensuite bath/shower. .
'Oak' is a large family room which has two beds, double and single.

If a double bed is required please select double occupancy when booking. Please state if a ground floor room is required and if walk in shower is required when booking. The walk in shower may not always be available if already pre-booked.

'Swallow', priced at a lower tariff due to the smaller size of the room and the private shower being located just outside the bedroom door. 'Swallow' has a 4ft bed, with a toilet and basin within the room.

This room has a long term discount of £29.90 a night, including breakfast. This tariff is for 4 nights plus. Long term guests staying 4 nights a week, 3 weeks plus, also have this tariff although may find themselves moved around the various rooms depending on availability with each stay. Microwave KFS etc available for self cooking.

Willow, Elm and Oak have double beds, large ensuite rooms, very popular with our regular guests.
